ECCC-AC, Earthing Copper Coated Conductor Anti Corrosion

La Farga has developed ECCC (Earthing Copper Coated Conductor), a low loss conductor for earthing connections available through Cx3 technology.

Cx3 technology opens up new properties for the conductor such as a different colour or dielectric behaviour.

  • ECCC-AC ropes are a copper electrical conductor with a corrosion-resistant coating which allows a longer lifespan than other materials compared with aluminium.

    Cx3 technology is highly resistant to corrosion. It constitutes an excellent solution for the harshest environments in the world.

    Since it has the same appearance as aluminium, it helps safeguard the installation, preventing theft.
  • Contrary to popular belief, copper wire is more corrosion-resistant than tin or aluminium. Due to his noble nature, copper is considered the best choice for all earthing systems.

    There are extreme situations where even copper gets corroded, for example when it is exposed to certain environmental conditions. La Farga ECCC-AC is a general solution which prevents any kind of corrosion and renders the installation more durable.
